EDITORIAL LAYOUTS
Giovanna D'Apuzzo is a free lance digital editor and graphic designer, she designs posters, magazines and editorials. I came across her behance profile and really like her editorial layouts and designs. I like the way she presents her images and typography.
I messaged her to try get some more information regarding her work and design/making process as the information online about her is very limited.
PUKE MAGAZINE
These are examples of some of her work, this is a project she did on 'Puke magazine'. I really like the layout and design of this fashion magazine. It's also nice how all the pages in the magazine are different and are laid out in different ways. There's also a good amount of white space, meaning that the photos are the main part of the magazine which is important. The typography is also really nice and creative, again it's different on each page.
This is another one of her editorial projects, I really like this one as there's a lot going on in each page and they're very full it still have a good amount of white space. I especially like the page with the illustrations on it as I feel like it fits the style of the images and magazine. I also like the bright pink glow down the spine of the book as it makes it more interesting.
Victoria Skolimowska - VAULT magazine
Victoria is a graphic designer, working in Brand Strategy and Visual Identity Design
Editorial. She's invented 'VAULT' magazine for a vintage fashion store that promotes vintage clothing and buying sustainable fashion. This fits really well with my project idea, and something I will definitely take inspiration from. Looking at how she's designed the magazine - layout and typography.
I messaged her on bechance and Instagram, seeing if I could ask her about the thought and planning behind her work.
I really like this editorial, from the images used to the whole house style and design of the magazine. I like how she's used colours from the images for the pages, for example red is used a lot in the magazine which I think is interesting as it could represent the urgency to stop fast fashion and become more sustainable.
I like the typography and font used, I feel they really fit with the style of the magazine. There's also a range of different fonts which is nice as it creates variety for each page. The doodles are also well placed and a good idea for the magazine.

Overall, I will be taking inspiration from this magazine for my own editorial, as the whole message of it is very similar to my own ideas so I think it would be good to follow a similar principle in my own work, while keeping it original.
Tiquismiquis
Tiquismiquis is a graphic design that creates all different types of editorials. I came across their bechance account and found some magazines that they've created and designed. I messaged them on Instagram to ask for some more information about what they do and the thought behind what they create and their ideas.
Some of the work they create has multiple designers/owners, therefore I messaged both of the creators.
AL BIES
AL BIES magazine is a fashion magazine, I really like this, especially the creative front cover - its a fabric  'clothes tag' which is a good idea and links to the whole concept of closing and fashion. I also like the over house style and design; it's quite minimalistic but it also has some creativity to it in the way that the images are laid out. As well as, the typography this is simplistic but very effective.
These are some of their other work which I like and will inspire me within my own work. Again, I like the design and layout of these pages/magazine. I really like the way they layout their photos, this is really effective.
My Designs - Canva
These are some of the designs that I've created using pre-made canvas templates - I did this to experiment with my images and gain ideas for when I create my final project. I like these designs, I did some more complex using multiple photos and another one with just one image on the front  to make it less busy.

This is also where I created the name for my magazine,I've decided to call it 'bounceback'. This is because I want people reading my magazine to take a step 'back' and think about the bigger picture of fast fashion and why there are different ways to be more sustainable and still buy fashionable clothing; you don't have to always follow every fashion trend and purchase from unsustainable and unethical fast fashion brands.
